The Washoe County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) is proud to partner with regional law enforcement agencies in our shared mission to enhance public safety and support seamless interagency operations. This landing page provides access to critical regional information systems hosted or managed by the Washoe County Sheriff's Office.
Below you will find essential policies, procedures, and step-by-step instructions for requesting access to the following systems:

- Please Note:
- Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Awareness Training is required annually for all persons with access to the JMS.
- No persons with access to information from the JMS can have a gross misdemeanor or felony without a disposition.
- No persons with access to information from within the JMS can have a gross misdemeanor or felony conviction.
- No persons with access to information from the JMS can be a fugitive from justice.
Jail Management System and Webmug
The Jail Management System (JMS), which also houses Webmug, is a comprehensive platform to manage all aspects of inmate intake, housing, movement, classification, release, and records. It provides authorized agencies with real-time access to inmate information, booking details, charges, court statuses, and holds. The JMS supports efficient custody operations and enhances interagency coordination for jail-related processes.
Records Management System and Computer-Aided Dispatch System (RMS-CAD)
In partnership between Washoe County, City of Reno, City of Sparks, and REMSA Health, the regional Records Management System and Computer Aided-Dispatch System (RMS-CAD) will enhance coordination among law enforcement, fire services, and emergency medical services across the region. This system provides real-time dispatching, unit tracking, and secure record management, improving communication, data sharing, and response efficiency across jurisdictions. Regional implementation is anticipated in 2026, at which time related forms, policies, procedures, and user guidelines will be published on this page. Check back for updates.
