Washoe County father, son arrested on multiple charges of sexual assault and lewdness with a child

Detectives with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Crimes Against Children unit arrested Jaime Oseguera, age 44, and Mark Oseguera-Chavez, age 20, of Washoe County for prolific counts of crimes against children.

Oseguera was originally arrested on June 4, 2020 and charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of incest. Upon further investigation detectives were able to find probable cause in charging Oseguera with new charges on July 1, 2020 totaling three counts of sexual assault of a child under 16, six counts of sexual assault of a child under 14, one count of sexual assault, nine counts of incest, ten counts of lewdness with a child under 14, two counts of indecent or obscene exposure, and four counts of open or gross lewdness.

Oseguera's charges are related to incidents involving multiple female victims that occurred from 2005 to 2020 at an undisclosed location in Washoe County. The victims are known to the suspect.

His son, Oseguera-Chavez, was arrested on June 25th for four counts of lewdness with a child under 14, one count of sexual assault with a child under 14, and one charge of distribution of obscene materials to a minor.

Oseguera-Chavez's charges stem from incidents involving a single female victim who was also abused by his father. The incidents occurred between 2019 to 2020. The victim is known to the suspect.
