Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives announced today that a $5,000 reward is being offered for the arrest and prosecution of the suspect or suspects involved in the burglary of a large amount of precious metals and coins from the home of a deceased businessman earlier this year.
The burglary occurred sometime between January 18 and 24, 2018, shortly after the victim passed away, at a residence in the Eaglesnest area of Caughlin Ranch.
The $5,000 reward is being offered by persons close to the victim in the hopes that someone will come forward with information to assist Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives with this investigation.
Anyone who has information that could help solve this burglary is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320. If they prefer to remain anonymous, they may contact Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900. Refer to case #WC18-399.
