Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives are now asking southern Nevada residents if they have any information that can assist the ongoing investigation because the victim, 34-year-old Michael Partridge, had connections to the Las Vegas area.
At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017, Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the area of Lupin Drive and Honey Bear Drive on a report of a deceased person located within a residence. Deputies located a deceased male adult who appeared to be the victim of a shooting.
The Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the decedent's identity as Michael Partridge of Sun Valley and confirmed that Partridge died as a result of having been shot.
Detectives say that Partridge lived in Las Vegas prior to moving to northern Nevada and still has connections to the area. They believe someone may know something, no matter how insignificant it may seem, that could help the investigation.
Secret Witness is currently offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect or suspects in this investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
