Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Annual Incline Community Picnic this Saturday

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the return of the Office’s Annual Incline Community Picnic, this Saturday, October 8, 2022, beginning at 10AM and running until 2PM.
The event, which will be held at Aspen Grove and Village Green is free to the public.
Attendees will be able to enjoy free hot dogs and hamburgers while visiting with members of the Sheriff’s Office and WCSO Special Teams including:
- Mounted Horse Unit
- Motors
- K9’s
- RAVEN Helicopter
- Marine 9 and some of her crew
- Bomb Squad
- Search and Rescue Unit
Community members are encouraged to come to the picnic and take advantage of valuable community resources including Child ID services.
“We are thrilled to bring the Annual Incline Community Picnic back to Incline Village after a hiatus,” Sheriff Darin Balaam said. “The Sheriff’s Office is excited to talk with community members and demonstrate some of our capabilities. We are looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday!”
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Incline Village General Improvement District, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, United States Coast Guard, Nevada State Police and the Trauma Intervention Program for their assistance and participation in the Incline Picnic.
