Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for any information from the public that can help identify and locate two possible suspects in a shooting that took place last week in Sun Valley.
At approximately 12:03 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019, deputies responded to the report of a shooting that had just occurred in the area of Sun Valley Boulevard north of El Rancho Drive.
The victim had fled the scene of the shooting and contacted dispatch from a residence in the area of 5th Avenue and Pearl Drive. Deputies and medical personnel made contact with the victim who was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.
Detectives have very little information about the possible suspects. According to the victim, the suspects are possibly two males in their late teens. One suspect is believed to be Caucasian or Hispanic, the second African-American.
The suspects may have been driving a white Nissan sedan.
