Washoe County Sheriff's deputies arrest fugitive from North Carolina wanted for hundreds of child porn felonies |

Washoe County Sheriff's Office deputies responding to an overnight call in Crystal Bay located and arrested a fugitive from North Carolina who was the subject of 134 warrants out of North Carolina for more than 400 Third Degree Sex Exploitation of a Minor.
The warrants had just been issued the day before.
Just after midnight on the morning of Thursday, April 25, 2019, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at the Crystal Bay Casino. Deputies met with security guard Richard Britt who had called the Sheriff's Office for assistance with an unwanted subject.
During the course of the call, deputies ran a wants and warrants check on Britt and discovered that the General Court of Justice District Court of North Carolina had just issued 134 warrants for Britt on April 24, 2019. The warrants were related to 403 felony counts of Sex Exploitation of a Minor.
Britt was interviewed by Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives and booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility where he awaits extradition to North Carolina.
