Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives have now identified both subjects from a pursuit that occurred Monday in west Reno.

The male subject has been identified as Lawrence Brian Mcgee, age 41 of Sparks. Mcgee was arrested on unrelated charges in Reno on Wednesday, January 31 and is currently in the Washoe County Detention Facility on a number of charges related to Wednesday's stop, including narcotics possession and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm.

Investigators believe Mcgee was the passenger and is also the subject who reportedly threw a gun from the vehicle during the pursuit. The gun was recovered by law enforcement.

The driver has been identified as Jessica Marie Mansoor. Detectives are still attempting to locate Mansoor and are asking for any information from the public that can help lead to her whereabouts.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Jessica Marie Mansoor is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.

Detectives would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed Monday's pursuit, particularly anyone who may have been in the area of Riverside Drive between Vine Street and Booth Street and may have seen the gun thrown from the vehicle.

Background:

The pursuit began around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018. A Washoe County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a white Mazda occupied by two persons in the area of Fourth Street and Ralston Street.

The vehicle fled, crashed into a third party vehicle in the area of Riverside Drive and Vine Street and continued westbound on Riverside Drive. Witnesses reported seeing a gun being thrown from the vehicle on Riverside Drive, the gun was located by deputies.

As the suspect vehicle approached Reno High School, deputies decided to terminate the pursuit in the interest of public safety. A short time later, officers with the Reno Police Department located the vehicle on the 2300 block of Westfield Avenue.

The vehicle was unoccupied. A perimeter was set and search conducted for the two subjects from the vehicle. Neither of the two occupants of the vehicle were located and have since been identified as Mansoor and Mcgee.
