The Washoe County Sheriff's Office arrested two felony suspects late Friday afternoon thanks to an anonymous tip through Secret Witness.

Through the Secret Witness tip, Sheriff's Office Detectives received information that Gavin Roberts, age 25, was seen on a property located in the 200 block of Carson Lane in north Reno. The Sheriff's Office has been actively searching for Roberts after he fled from Deputies during a stolen vehicle investigation on April 1, 2015. Roberts was also wanted on felony warrants out of the Reno Police Department and the Nevada Department of Public Safety's Parole and Probation Division.

Sheriff's Office All Threats All Crimes (ATAC) Detectives worked with the Sheriff's Patrol Division to secure a safe perimeter around the property. Sheriff's Office RAVEN, K-9 Deputies, Hostage Negotiation and SWAT team members, and members of the U.S. Marshals' local Fugitive Investigative Strike Team assisted with the response.

After receiving permission from the property owner to search the property, Deputies located Roberts and took him into custody without incident.

Arrested with Roberts was Tony Schoner, age 28, who was also wanted by the Nevada Department of Public Safety's Parole and Probation Division on a felony warrant.

Both suspects were taken to the Washoe County Regional Detention Facility.
