The Sheriff's Mobile Auxiliary Response Team, Inc. was formed to allow Citizen's Police Academy graduates to continue volunteering. This is a very active, community orientated group of volunteers. They provide additional foot patrols and Command Post support at special events such as the State Fair, Rodeo and the Reno Air Races. They manage the Child ID program and provide electronic fingerprints and ID packets to any family free of charge. They assist at the Victim Impact Panel and participate in a variety of other community service activities.
