The Civil Section is responsible, as mandated by state statute, to provide the civil service process in both civil and criminal cases throughout the County. Staff members process and serve thousands of court documents each year. A wide variety of papers are handled, including temporary protection orders, subpoenas, summons, writs of execution, and court hearing orders.
