Sheriff's Office seeks three suspects in home invasion investigation

Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives are looking to identify and locate three suspects as part of an investigation into a possible home invasion that took place Monday afternoon in Sun Valley.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2019, the Sheriff's Office was notified of an assault that had just occurred at a residence on Solar Court in Sun Valley.

According to the resident, two men and a woman approached his residence asking for assistance with their vehicle. After the resident opened his door, the suspects showed that they were armed with a handgun and entered the residence stating they were looking for someone.

The three suspects searched the residence, were unable to locate anyone else inside, and left.

The resident reports that nothing was stolen and that he has no knowledge of who was the subject of the suspects search.

The female suspect is described as white, approximately five feet, three inches tall, heavy set with black hair and a tattoo under her neck.

The first male suspect is described as an Hispanic male, five feet, ten inches tall, thin build with brown hair and a thick brown mustache.

The second male suspect is described as an Hispanic male, five feet, ten inches tall, thin build with a goatee and wearing a black baseball cap with the California state flag on the front.

The suspects are believed to be driving a white, mid-size SUV, possible Ford or GMC, with California plates.
