Washoe County Sheriff Chuck Allen and other law enforcement officers will help Texas Roadhouse serve up a free lunch on Monday to help support Special Olympics in Nevada and northern California. The Sheriff invites Washoe County residents to join him for a free meal, and to leave a big tip that supports a good cause.

The free benefit lunch consists of a pulled pork sandwich, one side item, fresh baked bread a non-alcoholic beverage and peanuts. Diners are simply asked to leave a donation at their table, all of which will benefit more than 23,000 Special Olympics athletes in Nevada and northern California.

Sheriff Allen said he is looking forward to serving the free lunch and talking with diners about how the public can support this important program.
