Washoe County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to a vehicle accident in Sun Valley at approximately midnight on August 7, 2016.
The accident occurred on Leon Drive near Blanco Circle and involved two motorcycles. One of the riders was pronounced deceased at the scene and another individual was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
Leon Drive between 8th and 9th Avenue was closed for several hours as The Washoe County Sheriff's Office Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) conducted the on-scene investigation.
