Local golfers are invited to support the Washoe County Sheriff's Honor Guard by joining them for the 5th Annual Honor Guard Golf Tournament at Red Hawk Resort on Friday, August 19, 2016.

Funds raised through this tournament help our Honor Guard participate in tributes for officers who have given their lives in the line of duty in northern Nevada and nationwide, including the annual National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D .C. The Honor Guard also participates in Color Guard and flag presentations for a variety of local and state functions. Our Honor Guard members recently honored Dallas Police Department's fallen heroes by attending their services in Dallas, Texas.

The tournament will be held at Red Hawk Resort and Club in Sparks. Cost is $100 per golfer and includes lunch, cart, practice bucket, and closest to the hole and longest drive challenges.
