Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detectives are asking for the public's assistance with identifying a light-colored pickup truck suspected of being involved in a burglary last month in west Sparks.
At approximately 1:00 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015, a trailer containing numerous pieces of landscaping equipment was stolen from a residence on High Rock Way. The trailer was recovered later that day but the equipment, valued at more than $10,000, was gone.
Detectives were able to obtain surveillance photos of a suspect vehicle driving to, and leaving, the crime scene (attached to this press release).
The vehicle is described as a light colored pickup truck with a dark stripe along the bottom of the driver's side of the cab. The vehicle appears to be an older (1980s-1990s) model Chevy or GMC dually extended cab pickup truck.
Anyone who may be able to help detectives identify the truck is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
