Washoe County Sheriff's Detectives have identified additional victims in their investigation of a burglary suspect who was arrested in Caughlin Ranch early Saturday morning after two vehicles and residences were burglarized.

Detectives now believe that Kyle Douglas Fitch of Fernley was involved in at least four other burglary cases. Three that occurred in west Reno, and one that occurred in the unincorporated area east of Sparks.

Investigators have also recovered additional stolen property.

Washoe County Sheriff's Detectives are working in cooperation with the Reno and Sparks Police Departments in this ongoing investigation. Anyone who believes they may have recently been the victim of a residential or vehicle burglary is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.

Background:

Fitch was arrested early Saturday morning, November 28, 2015, by Washoe County Sheriff's Deputies investigating a vehicle burglary that had just occurred in the area of Longknife Road and Caughlin Parkway in Caughlin Ranch. One of the deputies who was searching the area for possible suspects attempted to stop Fitch as he was walking on Caughlin Parkway when Fitch fled.

Deputies, supported by officers and a K9 unit from the Reno Police Department, were able to locate and detain Fitch before he could leave the area. Deputies discovered property stolen during the burglaries in Fitch's possession and he was arrested.
