The Washoe County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are investigating a series of vandalism cases at Incline Village Churches dating back to Easter Sunday 2015.
Investigators with the FBI and the Washoe County Sheriff's Office are asking for assistance from the public in developing leads to these cases. Specifically, investigators are interested in tips from citizens who have witnessed or seen graffiti or writings from anti-Christianity websites and/or satanic worship graffiti.
Through a cooperative investigation, the FBI is offering a $5000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those involved in the vandalism. Citizens with information regarding the vandalisms are asked to call 1-800-CALL FBI. In addition to the FBI, Secret Witness announced an increase in the reward they are offering to $1000 for the arrest and prosecution of those involved.
Background: Since April 2015, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office in conjunction with the FBI have investigated four incidents involving churches in Incline Village.
