The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a graffiti vandalism incident that occurred at an Incline Village church sometime Wednesday night.
St. Patrick's Episcopal Church on Village Drive was vandalized sometime between 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5 and 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015. The suspect, or suspects, painted graffiti on the church building and a car that was parked on church property. Letters mounted to the front of the church were also stolen.
Due to the nature of the crime, the Sheriff's Office has notified the Federal Bureau of Investigations. The FBI is currently investigating a series of church vandalisms that occurred on Easter Sunday in Incline Village.
Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to contact the FBI's tip line at 1-800-CALL FBI, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Incline Village Substation at (775) 832-4107, or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
A Washoe County Sheriff's inmate work crew was sent to the church on Thursday morning to clean up the damage (see attached photo).
