The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for a vehicle burglary suspect who fled from Deputies in Sun Valley this evening.
Ashton Spohn, age 21, of Sparks is a suspect in a vehicle burglary which occurred in the area of Sun Valley Boulevard and Second Avenue earlier this month.
Spohn is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 140 pounds with hazel eyes and short blonde hair.
Just after 6:00 p.m. this evening, Washoe County Sheriff's Office Deputies made contact with Spohn in the area of Second Avenue and Sun Valley Boulevard. After speaking with Deputies for several minutes, Spohn fled on foot across Sun Valley Boulevard toward Carol Drive.
Patrol Deputies searched the area with assistance from K9 Units and RAVEN however Spohn was not located.
In addition to the burglary charge and an outstanding felony warrant, Spohn now faces additional charges of obstructing and resisting.
Anyone who has seen Spohn, or may have information about his whereabouts, is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division at (775) 328-3350 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
