Washoe County Sheriff Chuck Allen invites you to join him and other local law enforcement for an afternoon of classic cars, and barbequed burgers to support Special Olympics Nevada.
The 8th Annual Cops & Burgers Show-N-Shine event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Victorian Square, Sparks.
Sheriff Allen and members of his staff, Nevada Highway Patrol Troopers and other area law enforcement officers will be busy doing the barbequing while you enjoy the many different cars that revved and rolled in for the Show-N-Shine.
Burgers, chips and a beverage will be on sale for $5, with proceeds going to Special Olympics.
The Show-N-Shine is open to all cars, trucks and vehicles, any year. Registration is only $25 and includes one meal ticket and one raffle ticket. Registration for the car show opens at 8:00 am and the first 200 registrations will receive a goody bag and event dash plaque.

Cops and Burgers Show-N-Shine is one of hundreds of events conducted by the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Nevada. The goal of the Law Enforcement Torch Run is to partner with our communities to support Special Olympics programs through raising funds and public awareness, while enhancing the quality of life of our athletes.
