The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for a stolen vehicle suspect who fled on foot from Deputies in the area of Timber Way just west of Sutro between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. this afternoon.
The suspect has been identified as Gavin Roberts, age 25. Roberts is described as a white male adult, 5 feet seven inches tall, 180 pounds, brown eyes, short brown hair and a long goatee. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white t-shirt.
The suspect does have a criminal history and may be armed. If spotted, call 911 immediately.
Units from the Reno Police Department and Nevada Highway Patrol are assisting with the search.
