Academy Pride Run on Thursday:
It's been tradition for the last few years for the new peace officers to celebrate with a six-mile run from the Regional Public Safety Training Center to the James D. Hoff Peace Officer's Memorial on Thursday afternoon.
Graduation Ceremony on Friday:
The official graduation ceremony takes place at 10:00 a.m. this Friday, February 6, 2015 in the Grand Exposition Hall of the Silver Legacy Resort and Casino. Reno Police Chief Steve Pitts is scheduled to address the new recruits.
