The following information was provided by the Nevada Department of Agriculture today:
"The Nevada Department of Agriculture is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) who intentionally trespassed and damaged private property on September 9th or 10th 2014, by destroying a legal and privately owned fence off Marango Road. The culprits destroyed approximately $50,000 worth of private property and if convicted face several felony counts of trespass and vandalism. If you have any information regarding this incident please call 775-353-3708."
Washoe County Sheriff's Office announced Monday that Detectives are asking for the public's assistance in locating the person or persons responsible for the destruction of tens of thousands of dollars worth of fencing in the Virginia Foothills.
Sometime during the past week, someone cut large amounts of barbed-wire fencing that surrounds 80 acres of private property off Marango Road. Numerous fence posts were also damaged.
