Sheriff's Office makes DUI arrest following fatal vehicle versus bicyclist accident |

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office arrested Jesse Michael Todd II, age 51, of Sun Valley Friday night for Driving Under the Influence Resulting in Substantial Bodily Harm following a vehicle versus bicyclist accident on Seneca Drive west of Virginia Street.
The Sheriff's Office Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) is investigating the accident which occurred shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014. According to investigators, Todd was driving eastbound on Seneca when he crossed over to the wrong side of the rode striking the bicyclist.
The bicyclist, described as a 16-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
After failing a field sobriety test, Todd was arrested and transported to the Washoe County Detention Facility where he was booked without incident.
