Detectives from the Washoe County Sheriff's Office are looking for information from the public to assist with the ongoing investigation of a woman who was found walking on north U.S. 395 on the night before Thanksgiving.
According to Detectives, an adult white female was attempting to flag down vehicles in the northbound lanes of the freeway between the Red Rock Road and White Lake Parkway exits at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. It may have appeared to drivers that she was attempting to jump in front of oncoming vehicles.
The identity of the woman is not being released at this time, due to the ongoing investigation.
Detectives ask that anyone who may have seen this individual on U.S. 395 Thanksgiving Eve, or who may have information related to this investigation, contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
