Detectives Make an Arrest for Lewdness of a Child under the Age of 14

The Washoe County Sheriff's Office Special Operations Division Crimes Against Children Unit completed an investigation of lewdness with three female children, two of which are under the age of 14; one female was 16 at the time the crimes occurred. 

The victims reported that the lewd acts occurred approximately one and a half years ago at an undisclosed residence in the Sun Valley area.  The investigation led to the probable suspect, Lewis Overfield age 47 from Reno, Nevada.  Overfield was subsequently identified, located and apprehended by Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit. 

The Detectives placed Overfield under arrest for two counts of Lewdness with a Child under 14 and one count of Open and Gross Lewdness.  Overfield was booked into the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility, where he is being held without bail.
