The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed with the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office that a formal identification and next of kin notification has been completed on the deceased female from Tuesday evening's residential shooting. The decedent is Kimberly Caine, age 43, Reno resident.
Due to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), we are prohibited from releasing further information on the two victims, one adult male and one adult female, involved in this case and their medical conditions thereafter.
Kimberly Caine was identified as the shooter of these two victims.
