There are 15 Citizen Advisory Boards in the unincorporated area of Washoe County .  Each Board is made up of citizens residing in the same neighborhood who share the same problems and concerns.   A Patrol supervisory or Deputy Sheriff attends the monthly meetings where they are able to interact with local residents. The deputies become personally acquainted with residents, giving them the opportunity to become more aware of the specific concerns and problems within the districts.   

There are 15 Citizen Advisory Boards within the South Patrol District area.    Each Board is made up of citizens residing in the same neighborhood who share the same problems and concerns.   A Patrol supervisor or a Deputy Sheriff attends the monthly meetings in order to interact with local residents, become personally acquainted with residents and to become more aware of the specific concerns and problems within the districts.
