The Sheriff Mobile Auxiliary Response
Team, Inc. was formed to support the Sheriff's Office field units
by conducting park checks, becoming involved in traffic control
when needed, and visiting seniors who are considered "shut
ins". S.M.A.R.T. has recently expanded its involvement by giving
Command Post support at special events, doing electronic fingerprints
for children, assisting at the Victim Impact Panel, and performing
clerical support for the Sheriff's Office.
