One of the following types of personal identification is necessary in order to obtain any permit or registration offered through the Records Section:

• Valid driver's license
• State-issued identification card

FIREARMS REGISTRATION

Nevada law does not require that guns be registered.  There is no charge for registration of your gun.  You must supply the gun's make, model, and serial number.

ATF AUTOMATIC WEAPON TRANSFERS/WEAPONS TRANSFER

Forms are provided by the Department of Treasury, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF).

• There is a $10.00 service charge for fingerprinting.
• Firearms transfer service charge is $25.00 for up to five transfers per visit.
