Visiting or Contacting an Inmate

The Detention Response Team (DRT) is comparable to SWAT teams used in Patrol operations. The team is a specially trained tactical security team designed to effectively deal with a wide variety of emergency situations within the Detention Facility.

Situations the team would respond to include threats inside the Detention Facility, escapes, high risk transports, riot and crowd control, hostage situations, and cell extrication of barricaded inmates.
