Washoe County Deputies arrested an Incline Village man for burglarizing multiple homes in the Incline area and evading arrest by leading deputies on a foot pursuit.  Deputies responded to the 900 block of Southwood Blvd., the morning of June 19th at approximately 6:04 AM to a burglary in progress call.  When they arrived, deputies spoke with numerous residents of the apartment complex who were awoken by a white male creating a disturbance.

Residents reported witnessing the suspect throwing potted plants at the front door of an apartment.  One resident reported the suspect entered his home through an unlocked door.  The resident saw the suspect in his home and locked himself and his family in the bedroom.  The suspect then attempted to forcibly open the bedroom door but left the premises after the resident warned that he was calling the police.  The suspect was witnessed taking some personal items from the home on his way out.

Deputies located a male fitting the description of the suspect a few blocks away and chased him on foot.  The suspect, Daniel Patterson, 22, resident of Incline Village, was apprehended and preceded to fight with deputies prior to being arrested.  Deputies located over $4,000 cash and other stolen items in his possession.  He was booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility charged with Burglary, Burglary of a Victim over 65, Petty Theft, 2 counts Malicious Destruction of Property, 2 counts Resisting a Public Officer and Battery on a Police Officer. Bail is set at $21,890.
